Danish actor Claes Bang, not so long ago noted in treated kindly by the critics Arthouse “Square”, got the role in the film adaptation of the novel “the Girl who got stuck in the web”. The role of the antagonist, opposing the main character, the reclusive hacker Lisbeth Salander.
We will remind, “the Girl…” is a continuation of the detective trilogy novels by Stieg Larsson, started the excellent Thriller “the Girl with the dragon tattoo”. The first trilogy was screened by Niels Arden Oplev, and it was, in my opinion, is not very first movie still of interest, but later turned out to be a fugitive, chaotic and boring retelling of the books. In 2011, Director David Fincher shot American remake of the first part, which was significantly better than the Swedish version.
However, before filming the second film, it never reached production stalled, and the leading actor Daniel Craig has requested a significant increase in the fee. In the end, a possible house of cards “trilogy from Fincher’s” collapsed, and Columbia Pictures gave continued in the hands of Federico Alvarez, the author of a remarkable remake of “evil dead”. Now in the film, already registered , Claire Foy, which will be the third performer of the role of Lisbeth Salander, and Sylvia hooks – she got the role of the evil sister Lisbeth, Camilla. I would venture to guess that the Bang was proposed to embody the image of an assassin of Jan Holzer – too similar type.
The premiere of the film “the Girl who got stuck in the web” is scheduled for October 18, 2018.
