A resident of Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous district died of electric shock, deciding to warm up in the transformer box, according to regional investigatory management SK the Russian Federation.
According to authorities, the incident occurred Wednesday evening in Salekhard. The three men drank alcohol on the street, until frozen. Wanting to keep warm, they got into the transformer vault.
“There’s a 26-year-old man was under the influence of 6 thousand volts. The second victim, who was trying to help him, was also injured and was taken to medical institution”, — noted in the investigation Department.
