Operating system Chrome OS will soon be released on tablets.
Representatives of Google said that visually it will have some similarities with Android, but will also receive and radical differences.
Google Vice President Hiroshi Lockheimer said that an operating system was developed by specialists of the company Android Inc. All were developed three versions of the interface with important differences, however, the leadership chose this variation. It has similarities with the classic Android OS, but the creators believe this to be a benefit in that users will not have long to get used to the appearance of the desktop and options programs.
Information about the introduction of tablets, Chrome OS has already been confirmed by Google Vice President. According to Hiroshi Lockheimer, using its own operating system will significantly affect the cost of production of the company. First tablet with Chrome OS will be available by the end of this year.
Earlier, representatives of Google said that Chrome OS will be the first adaptive system for tablets and smartphones, who previously worked on Android. About its exact characteristics are not yet known.
