During excavations on the site of the ancient village Ziahu archaeologists have found fragments of clay vessels. The researchers examined the artifacts and found that these 16 vessels about nine thousand years ago kept the alcohol.
Chemical analysis showed that the composition of an ancient alcoholic beverage was rice, honey and grapes. This was the wine of the time.
Specialists of the University of Pennsylvania Museum of archaeology and anthropology announced that it is now possible to refute the hypothesis that the inventors of alcohol were the people of the Middle East.
