The team spirit was the main impetus for contemporary modernization in China. The current state of social fragmentation and individualization, caused by massive, rapid urbanization, it seemed, had weakened the ideology, reports the Chronicle,info with reference to the Fresher.

The construction of a new dormitory / O-office Architects for the staff of the Research center of industrialization of the construction company Vanke became for the architects the unique opportunity to approach the question of new social forms of life. Playground in the South-Eastern part of the territory of the center borders on the districts developed from former villages in the primitive urban structure.

The main design task was the construction of a hostel for 155 employees, from security to technicians working in the center. One of the main decisions was the application of the system of reinforced-concrete frames, as well as a number of innovative building technologies.

The completed building consists of five floors with three types of rooms: single, double and quadruple rooms. South facade of three-story wing called Habita provides a private balcony for each unit of housing, and five large steel blocks for public spaces suspended at different levels the North facade overlooking the Research facility. General services facilities such as the gym and library, formed in an L-shaped scope Mount, rising from the earth to the dining room at the top. A mountain is not just a metaphor, but a real climbing wall in combination with the green ground on the Eastern facade. A small elevation of the concrete blocks grows from the landscape and create a makeshift stage under the open sky. Stairs, elevators, corridors and bridges connect the building a vertical network.

Collectivism here is bright and spontaneous community-initiated social and architectural concepts.
