China for the first time experienced heavy duty combat helicopter

It was called the “Black tornado”.

Chinese aircraft Corporation (AVIC) for the first time successfully tested in the air combat helicopter, the Zhi-19E intended for export to other countries.

This was announced by China Central television (CCTV).

The helicopter was piloted in one of the airports in Harbin (the administrative center of northeastern province of Heilongjiang). Light combat vehicle, received from the developers name “Black tornado”, created on the basis of helicopter Zhi-9, however, has a number of design modifications and differences.

Some parameters and options are subject to change individually by the customer. According to the developers, this new product “will provide a steady output of products of China’s helicopter industry on foreign markets”.

A distinctive feature of the new flying machine in flight, it produces much less noise than the Zhi-9. The designers also increased her security while in the air, improving the system by preventing tightening of foreign objects in the area of the screw blades, at low altitude this can bring the helicopter down. The developers have also made changes in the design of the helicopter, making pilots less vulnerable to frontal attack of the enemy.

Zhi-19E – dedicated light helicopter. The machine is designed for two pilots, its weight is 4 tons. It has a bulletproof antiavariynye fuel tank capable of carrying anti-tank and air missiles, other weapons.

First of all, this helicopter is designed to destroy heavy armored vehicles and tanks.
