Club of Ukrainian Premier League Chornomorets granted the request of Alexander Babich about the resignation of the head coach.
The President of the “Chernomorets” Leonid Klimov received resignation of Mr. Babic, the head of the legal service of the Sailors Fedor Yakimov told to the team during the meeting in Sauvignon.
Babich took the decision to leave the “Chernomorets” after a disastrous start in the championship of Ukraine. Season 2017-2018 Odessa started with five defeats in six matches. With one point Chornomorets last in the standings of the Premier League.
“There was a meeting with the President, which was made this decision. It was a mutual decision, wise. I don’t think I was doing something wrong. I am sure that I did everything correctly. As for the result, it’s a matter of time that me and the team at the moment, no,” Babich said in comments to the TV channel “Football 1”.
The acting main coach of “Chernomorets” was appointed Alexander Granovsky, a part of the coaching staff Alexander Babich.
According to the information portal “Duma”, the “Chernomorets” for the position of head coach is considering five candidates – Leonid Buriak, semen Altman, Yuri and Yuri Kulish and Denis Kolchin.
