Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko believes that Ukraine needs to establish a register of criminal cases against former President Viktor Yanukovych. He stated during the report to the human rights defenders for the year.
“I often receive inquiries about the number of cases against Yanukovych. I recently received a request to open the appropriate register. I support, if the legislation does not deny it,” – said the Prosecutor General.
According to him, in the interest of speedy trial of the result of the GPU takes the case against ex-President “step by step, to avoid the probable enterprises of different things that will delay a decision”.
