Canada will supply Ukraine sniper rifle for $770 thousand media

Private arms company PGW Defense Technologie in the fall will supply the Ukrainian army rifles in the amount of $770 thousand.

The canadian company PGW Defense Technologies ready to transfer Ukrainian military sniper rifles for about $770 thousand. This was reported by the owner of the company Ross Spared.

Ukrainian military will get the rifle LRT-3 50 caliber (12.7 mm) chambered for .50 BMG. Instructors the company will train the military to use and maintain the rifle.

Shahrud announced the arrival of LRT-3 of the armed forces in the fall.

LRT-3 is basically the equivalent of the Barrett M107A1 which have already been delivered to Ukraine about a year ago. Weight is about 11.5 kg length with unfolded butt – 1333 mm (width 63 mm), with a folded – 1104 mm (width 127 mm), the store – five rounds. Effective range is about 1.8 km away.

18 June, the representative of the Conservative party of Canada James Bezan offered to send to Ukraine a batch of lethal weapons, for $9.5 million, which was intended for the Iraqi Kurds.
