Canada is not ready for active dialogue with Ukraine bezveze

Negotiations can drag on for another few years.

The canadian authorities are not ready to engage in active dialogue on visa-free regime with Ukraine and to start negotiations on the road map for the conclusion of such an agreement.

This was announced by Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine for European and Euro-Atlantic integration Ivanna klympush-Tsintsadze at a briefing in Kiev.

“I don’t see the full readiness of the canadian side to take part in active dialogue and develop a road map for how to cancel visas in Ukraine”, – said klympush-Tsintsadze.

According to her, the issue of introduction of visa-free regime with Canada is not hopeless, however, requires several years.
