German scientists conducted a study which observed the effect of palm oil on the body.

The experts concluded: a permanent presence in the diet of foods with saturated fats can lead to irreversible changes in health.

The study of this problem was carried out by scientists from the Centre for diabetes in düsseldorf, invited for his experiments 14 men aged 20 to 40 years. In the framework of the project specialists determined how serious can affect a humans palm oil, which is extensively used today in the food industry.

“While the body can easily recover from occasional consumption of junk food, regular consumption of unhealthy food, rich in saturated fats, may cause long-term damage by changes associated with fatty liver disease and diabetes” was the opinion of researchers.

The observations of scientists suggests that adverse transformation in organs happen if consumed throughout the day products person eats palm oil in the volume of one glass. According to experts, this amount of fat is the equivalent of eight slices of Pepperoni pizza and the cheeseburger with a large portion of French fries.

Doctors have seen that people systematically consume palm oil at a specified level, the body more intensively accumulated fat, and decreased sensitivity to insulin that causes increased risk of diabetes.

In addition, the observed participants were recorded violations of the liver. It specialists are also tied with the action of palm oil, in particular, with the fact that it increases the level of triglycerides.

Palm oil is notorious that, as the base grease used in the food industry, especially in confectionery products. This fat is criticized for the content of substances that contribute to raising “bad cholesterol”, is extremely harmful to organs of the cardiovascular system.
