In Ukraine may 1, 2017, enters into force the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers on the reduction of social standards on the use of thermal energy, electricity and gas, which is determined for calculation of subsidies for the population.
The Cabinet reviewed some social norms with regard to the actual consumption of energy by households.
According to the document, social norms of consumption of gas is reduced to 5 cubic metres from 5.5 cubic meters per 1 sq. m of heated area.
In addition, the reduced norms of consumption of thermal energy for district heating subscribers, homes which have household and/or apartment metering devices: up to 0,0431 with 0,0548 Gcal Gcal per 1 sq. m of heated area per month during the heating season and electric power for heating: up to 51 kWh 65 kWh per 1 square meter of heated area per month during the heating season.
Recall, the Cabinet of Ministers on 27 April 2016 changed norms of consumption of public services set by the government to calculate subsidies for the population. According to the Vice-Prime Minister Pavlo Rozenko, the decision was made with the aim of bringing the norms of consumption of utilities to the real consumption.
