Cabinet appointed head of the National police of Sergey Knyazev

The decision was taken unanimously.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine appointed the head of the National police chief of criminal investigation Department Sergey Knyazev. Accordingly the decision was unanimously adopted at the government meeting on Wednesday, February 8.

“I propose and submit for your consideration for the position of head of National police of Ukraine General of the police of the third rank Knyazev Sergey Nikolayevich,” said the Minister of internal Affairs Arsen Avakov during the meeting.

According to Knyazev, “an uncompromising fight against crime and reforms” is the main motto and challenge him as head of the national police and the challenge that he put before the staff of the police.

Earlier media reported that in Europe the Declaration contains two apartments near Kiev in Brovary and in the village of Shepherds. And his wife recorded seven apartments, three cars and several land parcels.

Note, the selection of the head of the national police consisted of five stages, starting on 15 December. In the first phase were filed, 64 statement, of which first chose 10 candidates, and then three.
