Britain’s banks will face illegal migrants

The bankers will lock the accounts of violators of the border Kingdom.

UK banks will verify all account holders with a list of persons who are subject to deportation or hiding from immigration services.

Financial institutions shall be obliged to inform the Ministry of internal Affairs about all the customers whose names they will find in the list of illegals and to close or freeze their accounts, reports the BBC.

These actions are prescribed in the law on immigration, adopted in 2016.

According to journalists of the newspaper the Guardian, check all the 70 million current accounts in UK banks with the aim of identifying illegal migrants will be held every three months.

United Council of assistance to migrants criticized the innovation, suggesting that also be affected, and the migrants who have the right to stay in the country, however, the head of British Ministry of the interior amber Rudd stressed that migrants in UK legally would be able to use their Bank accounts without any restrictions.

According to the law, landlords and employers who, respectively, rent housing or provide jobs to illegal immigrants should be subject to strict punishment.
