The potential growth of the Russian economy in the coming years — about 2% or below, said at the SPIEF, the head of the accounts chamber of the Russian Federation Alexey Kudrin, reports TASS.
According to him, providing breakthrough growth with the current economic structure is not feasible.
“This year, I really did say that in my forecast 1.3% growth, as in the official forecast, and below 1%. Unfortunately, in my opinion, in the coming years, our capacity growth is around 2% or below. I mean, I guess we will not reach the bar in the 3% or higher in order to reach growth rates above the world”, — said Kudrin
We will remind, according to Ministry estimates, the growth rate of the Russian economy in 2019 could exceed 1.3% in 2020-2021 year will reach the level of 3% per year, but experts doubt that such optimistic forecasts.
