BP proposed to raise the salaries of deputies and their assistants

Under the bill, the salaries of MPs can increase almost up to 20 thousand hryvnia.

In the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine registered a draft decree on increase of salaries to deputies and their assistants. Relevant document published on the Parliament website.

So, we are talking about the project No. 7172 of October 5, 2017 on the financial security of activity of people’s deputies of Ukraine. It is reported that the initiators of the project were 10 MPs led by MP from the “popular front”, Pavel Pynzenyk. All people’s deputies – representatives of the regulatory Committee.

“To set the size of salaries of people’s deputies of Ukraine at the level of salaries of members of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine based on the size of the subsistence minimum established for able-bodied persons on 1 January of the calendar year (1 544 thousand hryvnia – ed.)”, – reads the draft resolution.

In addition, the monthly Fund of payment of work of assistants-consultants of people’s Deputy offered to install on the same level 25 times the subsistence minimum (30 thousand 880 UAH).

The Ordinance provides that the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada propose to appoint a salary at the rate of 18 528 thousand hryvnias, the Deputy – 17 756 thousand hryvnias, the under – 16 984 thousand UAH, member of the Committee – 15 thousand 440 hryvnias. Note that it goes directly on salaries, excluding allowances and bonuses.

We will remind, earlier the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko announced that Ukraine will increase the salaries of employees of Public service on emergency situations.
