Borussia Dortmund in the final match of the Cup of Germany won a narrow victory over Eintracht from Frankfurt.
Before the break the teams exchanged successful attacks. In the eighth minute Ousmane Dembele spectacular maneuver to beat a defender and hammer the ball into the top far corner of the goal Eintracht. 20 minutes later the club from Frankfurt restored parity – Ante Rebić, receiving a perfect pass from Miata of Gacinovic, surely sold out tet-a-tet with the goalkeeper of Dortmund. Second half Dortmund started with violent attacks. The best scorer of the “Bumblebees” Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang missed two great chances. Dortmund became the quadruple owner of the Cup of Germany, repeating the success of the 1965, 1989 and 2012. For head coach, Borussia Dortmund, Thomas Tuchel this title was the first in the coaching career.
