“Borispol” is continuing negotiations with Ryanair: dubbed “stumbling blocks”

In “Borispol” is not practiced securing Parking spots for aircraft, which is required by Ryanair.

International airport “Borispol” can’t fulfill all the wishes of the Irish airline-Ryanair.

The airline also wants to bring Hiking disembarkation and embarkation of passengers, such conditions the airport is ready to provide, however there are restrictions on the number of aircraft that can be serviced simultaneously in this mode.

In addition, the airport will not be able to give a discount on all services, emphasizes Eliashberg.

“To get a discount on most services are provided directly by the airport, it will be possible in the case of adoption of the amendments to the order of Ministry of infrastructure №337, which will reduce aeronautical charges and will enable us to reach an expected us $7.5. However, for objective reasons, there is a number of services that cannot be provided by the airport nor at a discount or for free,” he explained.

Ryanair also wants all the documentation of the airport were translated into Irish and English, however, “advertising and PR are not core functions of the airport,” says Eliashberg. According to him, “Borispol” does not sell tickets.
