Bondarenko defeated former second racket of the world and became a finalist of Tashkent

Ukrainian tennis player Kateryna Bondarenko has reached a decisive match on hard courts tournament WTA International in Tashkent.

For the permit in a decisive match Bondarenko competed with the former second racket of the world Vera Zvonareva, who in March this year after a two year hiatus returned to the WTA tour. In personal meetings Ukrainka was lost 0:3, and the last time tennis players met in 2012.

Kateryna Bondarenko for the second time in his career and for the first time since 2008, made the final of a WTA tournament. For the title in Tashkent and a chance to get back in the top 100, a native of Krivoy Rog will argue with the 52-th racket of the world of Hungarian Timea Babos.
