BMW X7 to launch a series of SUV’s just got to go like hotcakes.
For about a year, the Bavarian engineers are testing prototypes of the model and this time one of them was spotted by fotosporno on the road not far from Munich.
As before, the BMW X7 is well sheltered from prying eyes by a massive camouflage with eclectic black and white pattern. The only part that is unable to hide no protection — this is a huge size signature radiator grille. Roof mounted roof rails for the trunk, wheel arches covered with black plastic, and rear bumper are gaping rectangular holes of the exhaust pipes.
Based on the BMW X7 lies modular architecture CLAR has already been used on sedans 7-series and 5-series last generation. The movement of the flagship off-road class Bavarians will be powered by 6— and 8-cylinder powertrains, as well as buyers will offer a hybrid installation based on “turbo-four”.
BMW X7 production starts in 2018 on the American company’s plant in Spartanburg (South Carolina), where are all the other X models of the brand.
