BMW M5 new generation declassified before the premiere

“Charged” sedan will get an upgraded 4.4-litre Biturbo engine with a capacity of more than 600 horsepower.

On the Internet forum Bimmerpost has published official images of the “charged” sedan BMW M5 of new generation. The premiere of the car will be held on Monday, August 21.

From the standard “five” version of the M5 can be distinguished thanks to the extended wheel arches, side “skirts”, different front bumper and rear diffuser. In addition, the sedan has a spoiler and dual exhaust pipes.

The new BMW M5 will complement the upgraded 4.4-liter Biturbo V8 engine, which will return more than 600 horsepower. The engine will run with a seven-speed robotized gearbox with two clutches. The sedan will gain first “hundred” for about three seconds, and its maximum speed will make 300 km per hour.

The BMW M5 of the current generation is offered with a 4.4-liter unit with a capacity of 560 horsepower. From standstill to 100 km/h the car accelerates in 4.3 seconds. M5 can only be purchased with rear-wheel drive.
