Blizzard has announced that from next October a number of different games, the company will cease to support older versions of the Windows operating system. In the game list were such popular projects as World of Warcraft, StarCraft II, Diablo III, Hearthstone and Heroes of the Storm.
Blizzard is one of the few software companies that are famous for extremely long support and development of their games. So, the first version of World of Warcraft came out in 2004, but it still plays from 6 to 10 million players. Recently a major update was released for Diablo III, the release of which took place in 2012. In addition, The Rise of The Necromancer, the authors have added a new character class, new locations and game modes and a huge number of new items.
Game Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in may this year, has stopped working in Windows XP that has unpleasantly surprised many fans. Then, Valve has released an update for its shooter, which was not compatible with OS Win XP, which has stopped more than 3 years ago.
