Biathlon: the Austrians winning the single mixed relay

Simon Eder, Lisa Theresa Hauser with a large margin won the single mixed relay at the world Cup in Kontiolahti.

Fast and accurate shooting allowed the Austrians alone to finish in the mixed relay. Especially noted had been committed four shooting only one misfire.

For places in the top 3 on the last lap was contested by teams in the USA, Germany and France. Once in the trio was a Frenchman, Beatrice. American Bailey finishing the alignment sorted out with the German national team debutant Roman Rees.

The Ukrainian duet of Anastasia Merkushina and Artem Prima on the equator of the race fought for the medal, but three spares in prone from Merkushino did not allow the team to get the prize.
