French biathlete Martin Fourcade at the world Cup in Kontiolahti won a 13th win of the season.
Six-time world Cup winner failed to shoot without mistakes, but at the expense of the customary high speed remote Fourcade in the last round snatched victory from the hands of Andrea of Moravec, ahead of Cech only 0.6 seconds.
Today’s victory was for Martin Fourcade 13th this season, which allowed the Frenchman to become the sole record-holder for number of wins for a single season. Along the way, the world Cup has officially won the Small crystal globe in sprint offset.
The top three was completed by Norwegian Emil Hegle Svendsen, who took out bronze in the absentee confrontation with compatriot Johannes Bø. In the flower ceremony participated Arnd Peiffer and Simon Eder.
Dmitry Pidruchny became the only Ukrainian who got in the points area. Pryma Artem, Sergey Semenov, Alexander Greasy and Vladimir Semakov was content to hit in the pursuit.
