French biathlete Martin Fourcade in the mass start in Holmenkollen put the bright point of the past season.
For Him the debut of the final race of the season formed ambiguous Frenchman forgot to charge the rifle and I was 20 seconds from the leaders. After it became clear that judges have a claim to Fourcade that the first shooting got the clip from the hands of his coach, which is a violation.
Realizing that he was facing a time penalty, Fourcade ran in a solo breakaway and long before the end of the race had secured the victory. From nearest rival, the Frenchman took the lead on 17 seconds. In the end, the judges decided not to punish the winner of the season.
His debut podium in his career he designed the Latvian Andrejs rastorgujevs, who still managed to find the right balance between shooting and excellent speed in the race. On the last lap Rastorguev easily escaped from Austrian Simon Eder, shutting the top 3.
The German Simon Schempp took only 20th place, which did not allow him to become the winner of the crystal globe in the standings before the mass starts. This award went to Martin Fourcade.
The only Ukrainian Sergey Semenov, with three penalties, took the 21st place. In the final standings of the world Cup Semenov is located in the 23rd row.
