The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko during the celebration of the visa-free regime with the EU originally congratulated Ukrainians with the event, quoting Lermontov.
As said Poroshenko, the introduction of a visa-free regime between Ukraine and the EU marks a final break of Ukraine with the Russian Empire and the Ukrainian democratic world with the authoritarian “Russian world”.
