Bell pepper will help you lose weight and protect against stroke

It has become known, which has medicinal properties of pepper.

In the season of colds and viral diseases, doctors recommend to consume fresh vegetables that have a bright color. One such vegetable is the bell pepper. In autumn the shelves are full of this variety of sweet pepper, but its cost is too high for most Ukrainians. How useful is pepper?

Helps to get rid of extra pounds. The pepper contains a lot of fiber and low calories. Besides, this vegetable helps to speed up metabolism and cleansing the digestive tract of toxins and fat accumulation. Diet with the inclusion of bell peppers in advance and focused on success.

Protects from stroke and other serious diseases of the cardiovascular system. Bell pepper is rich in vitamin P, which is responsible for elasticity of blood vessels. If you consume this variety of pepper regularly that you will provide yourself with protection from illnesses associated with blood vessels and the heart.

Strengthens the immune system and promotes the development of new protective cells. In the Bulgarian pepper is more vitamin C than any other vegetable, in this regard, it can be called a powerful preventive measure against seasonal diseases.

Lowers blood pressure. Doctors believe that the substances included in the composition of the pepper, clean the blood vessels and lower the level of cholesterol in them, thereby normalize blood pressure.

Improves digestion, speeding up your metabolism. It is permitted to eat even for those who have various diseases of the digestive tract, because it contains fiber, which benefits the mucous membranes of the stomach and intestines.

Reduces the level of glucose in the blood, therefore recommended for use by diabetics.

What to make of bell pepper:

– stuffed peppers, and the filling can be vegetarian or meat;

– Lecho or steamed vegetables with pepper;

all kinds of fresh salads with bell peppers of different colors;

– stuffed halves of peppers melted cheese and eggs with mayonnaise;

– roast peppers in the oven or on the grill;

marinated bell peppers with spices;

– warm salad of sweet peppers with herbs and garlic.
