Belarus summons Poland’s military attache over migrant border crisis – Belta

Colonel Jaroslaw Kembrowski, the military attache of Poland’s embassy in Belarus, was summoned by the defence ministry in Minsk over the border migrant crisis. That’s what the ministry’s press service told Belarusian Belta news agency.

An estimated 3,000-4,000 migrants have already gathered at the border on the Belarusian side. Over 10,000 more are believed to be elsewhere in Belarus and are also preparing to cross into Poland, Polish government spokesman Piotr Muller told reporters on Monday.
