Construction will begin in 2019.
Light rail Tram-Train, which will connect the troieschyna with Borschagovka, you can start to build in 2019.
“It will be connecting the left – and right-Bank part of Kiev by using the existing tram tracks of light rail as in Troyeshchina and Borshchagovka, and where they will end, we will use the existing railway. Plan to pick up these cars that could switch from one voltage to another,” – said the Deputy head of Customer service Directorate for the construction and maintenance of transportation facilities and supporting infrastructure for Alexander Shevchuk.
According to him, now tender the feasibility study for the development of which has allocated nearly 14.5 million UAH. It is planned to finish by March 2018. The feasibility study will determine the most probable and the most economical route for the transport infrastructure of Kyiv.
“This is a major infrastructure project, which is in Ukraine has never implemented. Such plans: in March we come from the already approved part of the feasibility study, will hold a tender for the design work, and at the end of 2018 finish working papers you could have in 2019 to start the construction”, – said Shevchuk.
