In 2016, applications for asylum in Ukraine filed 6573 people.
This is stated in the information Bulletin of the office of the high Commissioner UN for refugees.
25% of asylum seekers were from Afghanistan, 10% from Syria and Russia, 6% – from Uzbekistan and 5% from Iraq.
The status of persons under subsidiary protection in Ukraine received 1497 of refugees from Afghanistan, 446 from Syria, 194 – from Armenia, 157 – from Azerbaijan, 133 were from Russia and Somalia. Source: https://censor.net.ua/n450957
