Five Ukrainian super League clubs have applied to play in European tournaments.
Champion of Ukraine “Budivelnik” (Kiev) next season will represent Ukraine in the Champions League FIBA. “Builders” for the first time in 2014, will speak at the European Cup arena. Three years ago, “Budivelnik” without much success debuted in the Euroleague is the basketball equivalent of the Champions League.
Applications for participation in “FIBA Euro Cup” filed “Dnipro” (Dnipro), “Chemist” (South) “Cherkassk Mavpy” (Cherkasy) and “BEEPS” (Odessa).
Of this Quartet only “Chemist” in recent years, acted on the international stage. “Dnepr”, “Cherkassk Mavpy” and “BEEPS” did not appear in Europe for about ten years.
Recall that in the past European season “Chemist” in the group stage of the Champions League have three wins in 14 matches, which did not allow the club from the South to reach the knockout stage of the tournament.
