“Barbarism”: the Kiev was much discussion of the main tree

Many people think that for the New year is not necessary to cut real Christmas trees.

The Christmas tree that will decorate St. Sophia square, must deliver to Kiev on December 3. This was announced by the head of the project Folk Ukraine Igor Dobrutsky. The main Christmas tree of the capital are brought from Ivano-Frankivsk region: tree 110 years old, and its height is 30 meters.

Thus the people of Kiev disliked the news that because of the feast to cut down 110-year-old tree, and called the decision “barbaric”.

Meanwhile, many citizens believe that at the Sofia area must be a live tree.
