The incident occurred in the Kgalagadi national Park on the border of Botswana and South Africa
Tourists travelling to South Africa, took video of a baby wildebeest, who took the car in kindred.
Tourists Zaheer and ASMA Ali was driving in the Kgalagadi national Park on the border of Botswana and South Africa and saw a baby wildebeest, who followed the car in front of them.
“We realized he was probably lost and confused the car with her mother, says Zaheer. — He instinctively followed the largest moving object near it, like in the herd”.
The cub could hardly keep up with the car, almost hit the oncoming Toyota, ran after her and eventually stuck to the car, which drove Zaheer and ASMA. They took him to the nearest herd of wildebeests. “The cub stopped after five seconds and ran up the mother and they reunited,” he told Zaheer.
In total, the baby wildebeest ran the car for about six kilometres.
