Avakov responded to the situation.

The Minister believes that the former head of the Odessa regional state administration must answer “on the charges and not to provoke the blood.”

Interior Minister Arsen Avakov stated that the ex-Governor of Odessa regional state administration Mikhail Saakashvili is obliged to obey the law. He said this in his Twitter.

“Any conflict has the only legitimate solution – until the court decision – everything that happens will not find solutions. Saakashvili is obliged to obey the law, pass legal procedure and answer the charges, and not to provoke the blood and clashes,” – said Avakov.

On the morning of 5 December 2017 ally of ex-Governor of the Odessa region David Sakvarelidze said that in the apartment Saakashvili in Kiev is searched. The leader of the party movement the new forces has climbed to the roof of the house and allegedly promised to jump when it tries to hold.

Later, the SBU still led him from the roof (video), brought from home, sat in the car, which was blocked by supporters of the policy. All this was accompanied by clashes of protesters with security officers (photo).

Closer to 14:00, Saakashvili’s supporters pulled him from the car to the SBU.
