Interior Minister Arsen Avakov has made the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groisman candidacy of Sergei Knyazev for the post of Chairman of national police.
“Tonight has made Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman candidacy of Sergei Knyazev – the appointment of the Chairman of the National police of Ukraine. The Prime Minister will take a decision on making the nominations to the next meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine”, – wrote Avakov.
According to him, the candidacy Knyazeva it is suggested by the results of the consultation contest, which took place from 15 December 2016 to 6 February 2017.
Avakov also said that Knyazev awarded for courage and heroism shown during the defence of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine in December 2014 by Order of Daniel Galician.
Note, the Prince is in the bodies of internal Affairs for more than 20 years, since 1992. Today, the Prince heads the criminal investigation Department of national police of Ukraine.
