Avakov called a number of separatists in the Donbass

On Tuesday, November 28, said the Minister of internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov during the forum “Ukraine: in pursuit of balance” in Kiev.

According to him, among the militants in the Donbas are both locals and mercenaries and military personnel of the Armed forces of the Russian Federation.

“Act of the 1st army corps in Donetsk and 2nd army corps in Lugansk… Just on the East of Ukraine are more than 35 thousand people”, – said the Minister.

Avakov said that the number of units, structure, and data available to them armored vehicles, mortars and missiles known to the Ukrainian side due to the activity of intelligence.

The Minister informed that the armament of these groups are 478 tanks, armored vehicles, 848, 750 mortars, MLRS 208, 363 anti-tank systems.

Avakov said that the separatists armored vehicles more than the latest technology of the UK.

“Managing these forces is the operational command created on the basis of the 8th army (armed forces – ed), located in Novocherkassk… We are facing a threat that close to our borders”, – Avakov emphasized, expressing confidence that Ukraine thus inhibits its borders and does not pass to Europe “rabid dog” of the Kremlin regime.
