In Ukraine this year is expected to rise in price of alcohol.
Already in the fall of 2017 in Ukraine will rise in price, wine, whiskey, brandy and other alcohol.
The reason for the price hike of alcohol is another increase in excise duties on products.
“As for Ukraine, the increase in excise duties on alcohol is one of the traditional ways of filling the budget, it is likely that in the fall we will see another change in the budget and another increase in the price of alcohol” – said the expert.
The next rise in price of alcohol will lead to an increase in volumes of smuggled goods in the market.
“Worst of all would be buyers, because the product quality will decrease and the number of poisonings with a substitute to grow. This trend is observed in Ukraine every Government increase in excise duties on alcohol. The other should not expect” – summed up the expert.
