Terrorists attacked one of our positions on the border with Burkina Faso.
At least 10 military of Mali have died as a result of the terrorist attack on a military base on the border with Burkina Faso.
According to the Agency, on Sunday morning unknown persons have attacked a military base in the municipality of Bulemezi on the border of Mali and Burkina Faso.
“We lost at least 10 people. Terrorists attacked one of our positions on the border with Burkina Faso, we have a few people who are very likely alive, but they had to take refuge in the territory of Burkina Faso,” — said a source in the Malian army.
According to another source, the commander of the Malian army unaccounted for, another officer was killed.
According to the Agency, the attackers, apparently, crossed the border and entered the territory of Burkina Faso, it is possible that it could be jihadists.
