ATP ranking: Nadal, three years later, again became the first racket of the world

Association of tennis professionals unveiled the updated version of world ranking.

Rafael Nadal before the start of the masters tournament in Cincinnati knew that 21 August will be the first racket of the world. The former leader of the ATP ranking Andy Murray due to injury and has missed the tournament of series ATP-1000, a similar decision was taken and the only rival of the Spaniard, Roger Federer.

Alexander Zverev has risen to a record sixth position, and after the US Open, the young German will overtake last year’s champion and finalist of the U.S. Open Stan Wawrinka and Novak Djokovic respectively. Both players due to injuries prematurely ended the season.

As for the Ukrainians, Oleksandr Dolgopolov’s second round of the tournament in Cincinnati has progressed to eight positions. Sergiy Stakhovsky has strengthened its position in the top 100.
