The defense Ministry has announced readiness to cease fire on April 1.
Ukrainian army ready to cease fire in the ATO zone since April 1.
This was announced by the speaker of the defense Ministry ATO Col.
“The armed forces of Ukraine and other law enforcement agencies involved in ATO, ready to fulfill all decisions of the Minsk group, which will be adopted. We are ready for the withdrawal and unilateral cease-fire, which is satisfied and so” – he said at a briefing, writes Interfax-Ukraine.
The representative of the defense Ministry stressed that the Ukrainian side expects the appropriate step from the enemy.
Earlier, the OSCE special representative in the Trilateral contact group on the Donbas Martin Sajdik said that the meeting in Minsk, the parties agreed on a ceasefire in the Donbass. In particular, the ceasefire should occur on 1 April 2017.
