Victor Ahlomov is one of the most famous Soviet.
Born March 15, 1938. After completing the course the photographers at the CCC, in 1960, came to the newspaper “Izvestia”, where he worked for more than half a century.
Victor Ahlomov – honorary member of the Union of photographers of Russia and winner of numerous national and international awards, including four prizes of the world-famous contest “World Press Photo” (1973 to 1976) and the award “Golden eye of Russia”.
Victor Ahlomov sure that among all the genres of photography the main photo, who is considered the father of Henri Cartier-Bresson. That is not a simple story, but the direction of what is called “the Decisive moment”, when the frame picture is so vital that it summarizes the global situation of love and hate, suffering and bliss.
