We are talking about the theft of more than 250 million rubles in the construction of the launch complex for the rocket “Angara”. This project is estimated at 100 billion roubles and should be completed in 2022.

According to investigators, the officials of the company “Volga construction company” (executor of the state defense order under the contract) provided the Treasury with false information about payment of rent of special equipment. The contract was not performed, but the money it was listed.

Earlier Vladimir Putin said that, despite the large number of criminal cases at the cosmodrome “steal hundreds of millions”. After that, the press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov said that the construction of the cosmodrome was stolen every tenth ruble.

According to him, the construction site was allocated 91 billion rubles stolen 11 billion. Of them managed to return to the state only 3.5 billion rubles. Peskov said that on the fact of embezzlement of state funds brought 128 criminal cases, which were later combined in 32 cases.
