Unusual photo project Bobby Neal Adams.
In 36 years, Bobby Neal Adams (Bobby Neel Adams) drew attention to how much he reminds himself in a photo taken at 6 years of age. Then he decided to make a collage from old children’s picture and new portrait.
This idea occurred to the author in 1989, when modern methods of image processing were not available. “In a dark room I had to rate both images and made the prints in equal proportions. When the pictures dry, I tore the last picture put it over the school photo and glue” – described by its manipulation of Adams.
This method he used for dozens of other works, which combined a series of “Age card” (AgeMaps). Here are portraits-collages from the halves of pictures taken at intervals of decades:
