In January-September this year, compared with the same period last year, retail sales of food products in Kyiv rose by 4.7%. About it reports head Department of statistics in Kiev.
It is noted that for the first 9 months of this year, residents of the capital began to buy more fish and seafood – by 12.5%, cheese – by 2.1%, confectionery products – by 13.6%, vegetables – by 53.2%.
However, in January-September 2017 the inhabitants of the capital has decreased the demand for milk and dairy products – by 3.8%, butter – by 8.6%, tea and coffee 3%.
As reported UNN, the national Bank expects the increase in the rate of inflation at the end of 2017.
