The average amount of increase for persons, whose pensions were subject to conversion is about 514 USD.
The average amount of increase of pensions since March 1, 2019 for the Ukrainians, whose pensions were subject to recalculation, is 514 UAH.
“Let me remind you that the government has decided that the increase in pensions cannot be less than 100 UAH. Today, the average amount of increase for persons, whose pensions had to be recalculated is approximately 514 UAH”, – he said.
According to the Vice-Prime Minister, the rise in pensions occurred:
for 2.5 million pensioners in the amount of from 100 to 400 UAH;
for more than 1.5 million Ukrainians – in the amount from 400 to 700 UAH;
for almost 500 thousand people – from 700 to 1000 UAH.
“2.5 million Ukrainians were promoted more than 1000 UAH. Emphasize that this is a monthly increase to pension”, – said Rozenko.
He also recalled that about 2.1 million pensioners who have the seniority, but the pension is below 1700 UAH, will receive an additional lump sum payment in the amount of UAH 2410.
“This sum will be paid in two tranches – 1205 UAH with 1 UAH 1205 March and 1 April”, – said Rozenko.
We will remind that since March 1 to more than 10 million retirees will be held the automatic indexation of pensions. As was stated by the Minister of social policy Andrei Reva earlier, the increase will average 255 UAH.
