As children live in the Gaza strip. Photo

Pictures from the Gaza strip.

The conflict in Gaza has lasted for more than ten years, and during this time the local people managed not to get used to, but, perhaps, to adapt to events. Furthermore – during this time had grown children that nothing else was seen. They used to play among the ruins, sleeping in houses without roofs and Windows, including with toys, but with all that I could find in the ruined city.

Children remain children even in such severe circumstances. They want to play, they want to make friends and explore the world. Photographer Emad Samir Nassar (Emad Samir Nassar) for several years publish snapshots from the conflict zone, and that pictures of children cause the greatest resonance. “This is the wrong place for children, they do not belong there,” – many commentators agree.

For your the children bathing in the bathroom in the middle of the ruins, Emad was awarded in 2015. As he says, the picture was not staged, he accidentally came upon this scene and took a picture just automatically. The photographer learned the names of these people – Salem Saudi (30 years), his daughter Layan (left) and niece, Shaimaa (right). The following year, after the awards (the won two awards Sharjah Prize and UNRWA-EU), Emad returned to this city and tried to find this family, but could not find them.
