District administrative court of Kiev refused ex-Verkhovna Rada Deputy Andriy Artemenko recognition illegal actions of the Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko, depriving him of Ukrainian citizenship.

According to the materials of the case, 18 APR Lutsenko in writing addressed to the Minister of internal Affairs Arsen Avakov and indicated that there are grounds for termination of citizenship Artemenko.
He also pointed out that the Crimean Prosecutor’s office conducts pre-trial investigation on the fact of treason Artemenko.
“During interrogation Artemenko said that in 2005 the competent authorities of Canada granted him a residence permit, and eventually canadian citizenship without giving up Ukrainian citizenship”, – writes the edition.
Also States that he provided copies of Ukrainian and canadian passports.
“The court ruled that current legislation does not contain cautions and restrictions on the sources from which the State migration service of Ukraine can receive information about the reasons for the loss of someone or citizenship of Ukraine”, – stated in the publication.
It is noted that in this regard, the court decided to refuse Artemenko in the claim.
