Fuel will go to the Tripoli TPP.
On the night of 13 September in the port “southern” arrived ship Ocean Ambitious with 62 thousand tons of thermal coal from the US for stations of the state company “Centrenergo” under contract with XCoal Energy and Resources.
According to the port, unloading had already begun.
As noted by acting Director of state enterprise “ICC “South” Vitaly Zhukovsky, the port performs tasks of the Ministry of infrastructure for the reception and dispatch of coal to Ukrainian thermal power plants. He is confident that the schedule will be executed.
“In early September we completed the planned training of the equipment, because in the next week, the company plans to take 4 vessels with coal, totaling more than 295 thousand tons, one for “Tsentrenergo”, two for DTEK and one for OOO “Euroconstruction”. The experience of unloading bulk carriers with anthracite from South Africa demonstrates our ability to effectively organize the process of sending goods to the energy sector to ensure adequate and timely replenishment in the warehouses of thermal power plants”, -said Zhukovsky.
Recall that in the spring of 2017 at the port “South” has unloaded three ships with anthracite from South Africa, which has procured for DTEK Pridneprovskaya and Krivorozhskaya TPP.
