Antonio Gaudi has created a unique in its beauty and form of the structure. An avant-garde approach has made the master a key figure in the art Nouveau architecture. Moreover, with its submission to Spain, the art Nouveau style flourished. Although most of the buildings of Gaudi is located in Barcelona, the impact of his work can be found in different parts of Europe. Casa Vicens

Casa Vicens is one of the most important creations of the architect, because it marked the emergence of the art Nouveau style in Spain. The construction of Gaudi’s ordered a manufacturer of brick and tile Manuel Vicens in 1883.

Working on the project of this house, Antoni Gaudi were inspired by the Moorish motifs with colored mosaics and repeating geometric patterns intertwined with floral ornament. Another feature of the structure is asymmetric and the many arches. They are considered to be the main feature of Catalan modernism.

Bodegas Guell

Bodegas Guell (Bodegas Güell) was built between 1895 and 1897 years for Eusebi güell. Industrialist and philanthropist saw the creations of Antonio Gaudi at the world fair in Paris and ordered him to build a 3-level complex, which includes the actual cellar, garage, living quarters and a chapel with a viewing platform.

Park Güell

Sagrada Familia

The Sagrada família, or the Sagrada Familia is the most important and ambitious project, which Antonio Gaudi devoted 42 years of his life. As with other works of the architect-the temple is natural forms, intricate details, bright colors. When designing the Sagrada Familia Gaudi used such styles as art Nouveau, Gothic revival, Orientalism.
