Found the structure of the 17-18 centuries.
Archaeological expedition of Institute of archeology of NAS of Ukraine in the capital, on the street shchekavitskaya found the buildings of 17-18 centuries. In addition to the buildings, found a large number of household items that will be included after the restoration of the exhibition of the museums of Kiev.
Alexander Nikora, Director of the Department of cultural heritage protection said:
According to archaeologists, from June 2018 and up to real time at the specified address being excavated. The result is a collection of artifacts 12-19 ages: 3 ancient cross – (enkolpion), 3 princely lead seal, copper cap with the image of the virgin, the scabbard for the sword of the 19th century, coins and much more.
In the future, all these finds will take a worthy place in museums, and some of them will be a separate exposition, which tells about the life of our ancestors.
